Fit Your Jeans!

We all know it’s all about fit.  Tops, bottoms, dresses, jackets and but what about fitting our favorite jeans.

About 4 months ago we had one of our fabulous clients walk back to my office and show me her newest addition…a pair of Tru Luxe jeans she had picked up while on holidays.  She said they were a perfect fit for her and believe me…they were fantastic complete with bling on the pocket and the ideal style for her body.  She looked amazing!  With a bit of research and an email to California we found them!

Our first order has arrived and they are flying out the door, three days ago I was placing another order after only having them in the store for less than a week!  This is a complimenting and fabulous addition  to the great brands of jeans we already offer you at the store.

I was on the Tru Luxe website recently and see that they have put together a fabulous guide to body shapes and styles that work.  I thought I would share their information with you…..

Petite….Skinny styles that are a bit longer work wonders for petites; just look for tapered ankles and roll up the hem for a cute cuffed look.

Hourglass….It may seem counter-intuitive, but jeans that hit above a natural waist make hourglass shapes look even more defined, they cinch in the tummy and accentuate your curves.

Boyish/athletic….Colour can be your saving grace.  It’s eye-catching and accentuates your natural silhouette…super tight and super thin can run the risk of toothpick legs!

Full Hips & thighs…The best style for you is a classic flare.  Keep things lean by choosing a style that billows out below the knee for a straight line from tummy to thighs.  Dark wash long flares will camouflage any lumps and bumps.

Tummy…..Boot cut is your go-to for this curvy body type.  The clean lines and straight fit of Tru Luxe throughout the leg will streamline everything.  Look for pairs that have at least 2% spandex for just a little stretch, and a mid rise so they don’t cut into your curves.
